Transforming Fear into Fuel: Anna Coby on Building Wealth and Empowering Others
“I believe everyone deserves to understand how money works—and I’m here to make that happen!”
Hey Sista! I’m honored and grateful that you are here! Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today! Could you just take a moment to let our readers know who you are and tell us a little about what you do?
Hi, I’m Anna Coby! I’m a licensed financial professional, business owner, and Vice President at a major publicly traded company. I’m also the creator of a custom Manifestation Journal and Money Book designed to help people save and build wealth.
When I’m not traveling, enjoying great food, or spending time with my family, I’m passionate about helping people uncover more money in their month through debt elimination strategies and personalized wealth-building plans. I dedicate my time to educating and empowering others with weekly financial literacy sessions, offering solutions like life insurance, investments, and more.
I believe everyone deserves to understand how money works—and I’m here to make that happen!
You are so amazing! Listen, as we kick off an exciting new year, many women are setting the tone for their personal and professional journeys. What changes are you embracing in 2025, and what intentions have you set to make this year your most successful yet?
I wouldn’t say one specific obstacle stood out in 2024. Instead, it was the daily challenges of being an entrepreneur—navigating uncertainty, finding balance, and building a business from the ground up—that pushed me to dig deeper. Each day brought new lessons, and with every challenge I faced, my confidence grew. I’ve learned to trust my abilities, embrace the process, and, most importantly, develop the resilience and “tough skin” that only comes from consistently showing up, no matter what.
We know that starting fresh means letting go of past fears or habits. What old beliefs or patterns have you worked to release, and how are you replacing them with new practices that align with your goals and intentions for the year ahead?
“I realized that every failure brings valuable insights, helping refine strategies, uncover strengths, and illuminate the path forward.”
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of embracing failure as a stepping stone rather than a setback. For a long time, the fear of failure held me back from exploring new opportunities or taking risks. However, I realized that every failure brings valuable insights, helping refine strategies, uncover strengths, and illuminate the path forward.
This lesson shaped my decision to move boldly into my next chapter by reframing challenges as opportunities for growth. Instead of hesitating, I now take calculated risks, trust in the process of learning, and focus on action rather than overthinking outcomes. It has allowed me to approach the future with a sense of purpose, resilience, and an open mind to explore possibilities I once considered out of reach.
Building momentum for success can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding. How do you plan to stay focused and motivated as you work toward your biggest goals?
Looking ahead to 2025, I’ll apply what I’ve learned about resilience, adaptability, and embracing discomfort to create a better tomorrow. I’ve realized that growth often happens in the spaces that feel the most uncertain. I plan to lean into challenges, prioritize consistency over perfection, and cultivate a mindset of curiosity rather than judgment—both for myself and others. By focusing on small, meaningful steps, I’ll build momentum toward bigger goals while keeping space for balance and self-compassion.
For women looking to strengthen their resilience in the new year, my advice would be:
Own Your Story—Recognize the power in your experiences, both the triumphs and the setbacks. These moments give you depth and strength. Your voice, journey, and perspective are uniquely yours—own that.
Prioritize Your Well-being – Resilience is built when you care for yourself as much as you care for others. Set boundaries unapologetically, invest in rest, and commit to practices that nourish your mind, body, and spirit.
Embrace Failure as Fuel – Don’t fear failure; use it. Every stumble contains a lesson. By reframing failure as feedback, you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Build Your Circle – Surround yourself with women (and allies) who inspire, challenge, and support you. Resilience is often strengthened through community, not isolation. Share your dreams, fears, and victories.
Take Bold Action – Don’t wait for the “perfect” time; start where you are with what you have. Resilience grows through action, even in small steps. Boldness is not about being fearless but about acting in spite of fear.
