"Beyond Limits: How Coach Libra Empowers Women to Embrace Change"
I’m so excited that you were able to take the time to kick it with us today! Could you share a bit about who you are and what you do?
I am Coach Libra, a lifestyle coach dedicated to helping mothers and women who double as caregivers transform their lives. My goal is to show women their true value and help them reach their highest potential. Through my own experiences, I guide others on how to change their lives for the better. We often don't have the support we need around us, so why not be part of a community that fosters growth and empowerment?
Now we all know that being a woman in business is tough and comes with hard decisions. What’s the most courageous decision you’ve made in your career, business, or personal life, and how did it shape the path you’re on today?
The most courageous thing I've done is jump off the cliff headfirst—essentially, to take that leap of faith even when I was scared. It was crucial for me to embody what my parents envisioned for themselves: to be strong, bold, brave, and willing to take risks.
Fear and self-doubt can be crippling and hold us back. Can you share a time when you overcame a major setback or fear in your journey, and what that experience taught you about yourself?
When my son was hospitalized, fighting for his life, I faced a choice: I could either pause my coaching and tell my clients we couldn't proceed until my son was home, or I could find a way to continue and demonstrate to them that what I was asking of them was doable. Another pivotal moment was when my father passed away. I didn’t cancel any clients or meetings; I kept going. My father used to say, “Why stop living over my problems?” That motto has stayed with me, and I operate by it.
As a woman in your field, what’s been the most challenging barrier you’ve faced, and how have you used your strengths to turn that challenge into an opportunity?
One of the most challenging barriers has been connecting with other women without encountering low-key negativity or jealousy. Finding women who are genuinely open to growth can be difficult. And working with men? Well, it can be tough when their intentions aren’t purely professional. It’s hard to focus when someone wants more than just a business relationship!
How do you define success, and what message do you want to leave for other women striving to create their own version of a fulfilling life and career?
To me, success is about how well you can live your life without relying on material possessions or money. It’s about the peace you cultivate in your life, regardless of what you have. Success means being relaxed and present, coexisting with others without drama or conflict.
Do you have any advice you would give to women who are hesitant to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their biggest dreams?
Just do it, boo! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. It won't be easy—nothing worth having ever is—but those who take the chance to learn, grow, and build will always win. Just ensure that your intentions align with your purpose so that the fruits of your labor will be sweet.
